Marci said "um" when I bought this...I am sure she had thoughts like..."oh my, she has lost it...and she is my business partner...what do I do"....
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!!!
I will admit now though...it is on the verge of being a little too shabby for me...ok...there...I said it...I love the shabby, ratty, rusted look...I really do, but, hum.....is this tooooo shabby? I cannot decide. On one hand I love that it is all original but then could it really work in a room? Would I ruin it if I ripped all the original fabric off and replaced it? A few more pics to get the 'realness' of the shabby.
Ok, so here is the question...WWYD...What Would You Do??? Leave it alone or try to doll it up?
Honestly...It may never make it into the Cottage....It may just have to go home with me!!! I will let you know...

Hi Mandy,
I can see why you love this. I would probably try a heavy lace table cloth thrown over the hood to semi-disguise the torn places. I think the tears might look good showing through the lace. If that doesn't work, I would remove the torn hood and replace it with lace. Just a thought...
I don't know if it will work for this stroller, but I took an old doll stroller that was an all metal frame, took all fabric off, sanded the frame a bit, and sprayed it with clear acrylic. It had a great aged look to it. I took it to the last show at Warrenton and it sold right away! It displayed great. Barbara
Great thoughts ladies!!!! I wiil keep this in mind!!!!
Thanks a bunch!!!
Mandy
I would rip all of the old stuff out and just have the frame and use it to display stuff or out in the garden.
